Mr.Guruswamy Revana holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Andhra University, as well as a Master of Technology (M.Tech.) in Power and Industrial Drives from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (J.N.T.U), Hyderabad. He also earned his Master of Human Resource Management (MHRM) from Acharya Nagarjuna University and a Master of Science in Psychology from B R Ambedkar Open University. He now has 21 years of teaching experience and has worked at many engineering institutions, including Padmasri Dr.B.V.Raju Institute of Technology, Vignan's Nirula Institute of Technology, Vasavi College of Engineering, and BVRIT HYDERABAD College of Engineering for Women. He served as a faculty member at all levels, from Assistant Professor to Head of Department.
Mr. Guruswamy Revana has 71 articles in different journals, international and national conferences, and nine patents. He has a DST project valued 4.8 million Indian rupees. He received over 28 prizes and rewards. He delivered around 32 talks and achieved 51 certifications. He is also a reviewer for many major publications throughout the world. He has also published a book chapter and led a number of national and international Faculty Development Programs.
His research interests include Power Electronics, Power Quality, Renewable energy sources, Internet of Things (IoT), FACTS, Robotics, and Nanotechnology. He is also a life member of the Institution of the Electrical and Electronics Engineering (IEEE), Life member of Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), Member of All India Council for Technical Skill Development and Member of Institute of Scholars (InSc). He inspired and guided several students for hackathons, paper presentations, poster presentations, and project expos at national and international technical events. His passions include photography, calligraphy, and music.
